I have a Kiso Grand Suzuki "Hillbilly," Serial 60711. Beautiful Brasilian Rosewood, 3-piece back and sides. Probably very few produced, since no information has thus far been found.
Great, warm sound - a joy to play.
Please post if you have any infos.
Thanks!
Tom

I have a Kiso Suzuki guitar with this label. It says "MOdel 70" and has the serial number "28268" printed on it.
Bought it for 900 yen at a local second hand shop in Shinjuku last winter (nov 2012). One of the tuning screws was broken, and it had no strings, which was probably why it was so cheap.
But I managed to get it into working condition and ought a new set of strings for it and it sounds great!
I am glad to have stumbled upon such a nice guitar for such a good price.

I have a Kiso Suzuki Violin Co. LDT Japan Model No. 70

I don't have the serial number, nor can I find one. I believe it is somewhere between the 60's and 70's. But not sure.

My 10 year old daughter was given the same guitar with the same exact label, but Model no. 60 from her Grandmother who is the original owner. It was bought for her brand new as a gift from my father-in-law sometime in the 70's. But they can not remember the exact year.

It is a great sounding guitar and my daughter has been taken lessons with it. Grandma is thrilled to see her granddaughter playing her vintage guitar.

It is not an expensive guitar, you can still get them easy enough for around $100 to $350, but it is priceless to us.
